About Dr Regan

The body tells a story — my work began when I learned to listen.

I’m Dr. Regan Osborne — chiropractor, writer, and educator. This page isn’t about credentials or titles. It’s about the experiences that shaped how I see the body, why I teach Postural Literacy, and how I help people meet the nervous system with clarity instead of control.

The Journey

I didn’t start out planning to be a chiropractor.

I grew up surrounded by it — my father, Dr. Stephen Osborne, is a world-class chiropractor, and my brothers followed him into the profession. But for years, my focus was music. Performing, touring, and learning how to listen — to rhythm, tension, and resolution.

That skill — listening — eventually led me here.

In 2018, I graduated from RMIT as a Doctor of Chiropractic. I was ready to contribute and ready to change lives. But during my final semester, everything shifted.

While training under Dr. Mark Postles, a chiropractor with a very different approach, my view of health and healing unraveled. It pushed me to question everything I thought I knew — about posture, the nervous system, stress, and what “healing” actually means.

That experience became the foundation of the work I do today: helping practitioners and seekers learn to read the body as a story, not a problem to fix.

About Dr Regan Osborne

My work is built on a simple shift:

Stop treating the body as a problem to fix.

Start seeing it as a conversation to engage with.

Posture isn’t just alignment. It’s adaptation. It’s memory. It’s the body’s way of saying, “This is how I’ve survived.”

When we read posture as story, we start to understand what the body has been carrying — and what it’s ready to release. Healing stops being about force or compliance. It becomes about listening, reflection, and unwinding what no longer needs to be held.

This isn’t about chasing perfect form or avoiding structure altogether. It’s about restoring postural literacy — the ability to meet the body with clarity and help it return to honest function, step by step.

Personal Perspective

At the core, my work is about helping people feel seen — not just as patients or practitioners, but as humans carrying stories their bodies have been holding for years.

Whether I’m working one-on-one, mentoring clinicians, or writing, my role isn’t to command change. It’s to witness, guide, and create the space where real shifts can happen.

Outside the clinic and classroom, I still find rhythm in music, grounding in the ocean, and inspiration in the quiet pace of Byron Bay — all of which remind me why slowing down and listening deeply matters in every part of life.

"Posture isn’t just shape — it’s communication. It’s the body’s way of saying, ‘This is how I’ve survived.’"
